What is Panelization?

Panelization is simply the process of building the wall panels of a house off site and bringing them to the building site to stand.  It is much the same process of a typical "stick-building", but the panels are made in a controlled environment, acheiving a higher level of quality and accuracy.  These are not manufactured or modular homes.  Manufactured or modular homes are completely built in a factory and shipped in pieces.  They are standardized homes with many limitations and some communities will not allow them to be constructed.  This is not the situation with Farwest Homes panelized homes.
