What Parts of the Home Should I Build?

When you build your own home, you should play off your strengths.  If you know how to paint a home, do so.  If you are not sure, maybe it is best to hire a painter.  We suggest that you only do the work that you are capable of doing.  It is this work that you can get done quickly that saves you large amounts of money.  For the portions of the home that you do not want to build, hire a qualified local sub-contractor to complete the project.  The construction loan will allow you to pay the sub-contractors quickly.  Some of our customers get deeply involved with the building process.  They like to know that they were participating in every aspect of the home.  Others co-ordinate the building process and hire sub-contractors to do the actual building.  Out West's program is flexible and allows you to get as involved as you would like.  Either way, your home gets built to your liking.
