Getting Started

We have a simple 8 step process for getting started: 

1. Request a Pre-Qualification Authorization form to be sent to you via fax or mail.  There is no cost pre-qualification.
2. Find land for your building site.
3. Select a floor plan and request a quote from Farwest Homes.
4. Develop a budget.  We will help you with this, reflecting your funding abilities and your building costs.
5. Develop blueprints and specifications for your new home.
6. Order appraisal.
7. When land is under contract, plans are complete, and mortgage is approved, apply for permits.
8. Loan closes and land is paid off.  Typically 10% of the loan is wired to your bank for immediate cash needs.
